Temple College Vocal Point will perform the 2023 “TC Musical Theatre Showcase” at 12:30 p.m. Oct. 17 in the Jackson-Graeter Backstage Theatre located in the Mary Alice Marshall Performing Arts Center on the Temple campus.

Students will bring to life highlighted music and scenes from the Broadway show “Come from Away.” Students will also preview scenes and songs from “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying,” which will be the highlighted Temple College musical for Spring 2024.

Vocal Point ensemble members consist of TC musical theatre majors, music majors, and dual credit students. Fall members are Ashlynn Bridges, Cameron Caple, Hayley Cavazos, Maddie Clark, Andrew Cloe, Lazeria Dean, Ruth Feliciano, Saniyah Galbreath, Talon Hayes, Rebekah Kropp, Cade Marshall, Noah Marshall, DeLisa McClennon, Isaiah Owens-Williams, Thomas Painter, Ashley Ray, Caleb Rinehart, Maverick Shepherd, Courtland Snelling and Stone Wall.

Vocal Point is under the direction of Priscilla Santana, Chair of the Temple College Music Department, and accompanied by pianist David Pérez-Guerra, choreographer Joanna Langthorn and percussionist David Baldovino.

The concert is free and open to the public.
